Trader Stabs Customer With Knife

A 30-year-old man, Muhammad Hassan, was on Wednesday arraigned at an Oredo Magistrates' Court in Benin City for purportedly stabbing his customer, Mr Emeka Nwoku, with a knife.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Hassan is being striven for causing real harm.

The Police Prosecutor, Patrick Agbonifo told the court that the denounced conferred the offense on July 29.
Agbonifo said that the offense negated Section 335 of the Criminal Code, Laws of the ancient Bendel State now appropriate in Edo State.

The denounced, in any case, argued not blameworthy.
Administering the bail of the charged, the Magistrate, Mrs I.A. Osayande, allowed him bail in the whole of N190,000 and a surety in like total.
She, in any case, deferred the case until Aug. 16 for hearing.
