Police Arrests 12 Cultists in Cross River

The Police force in Cross River State has arrested 12 cultists in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.

Parading the suspects, the state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Inuwa Hafiz said suspects were captured in Obudu nearby government region of the state.

"In our mission to guarantee that the election happen calmly, we made capture of some criminals that are not from Obudu that ran there with expectation of causing havoc.

"These hooligans are cultists and they were captured regardless of gathering association. They were there to instigate inconvenience, since we, Police, were there to release our established duty with a view to guaranteeing that no one gets injured.

"Two of them, who are extremely famous and have been on our needed records, are Maxillo, he is a feared Vicking part, and Ubong is a feared Skylo cultist's part," he expressed.

The Police chief said a portion of the suspects have been on the Police needed records, "We realize that for them to go to Obudu clearly, they are running there with goal to perpetrating wrongdoing.
