"I'm Not Desperate To Be President" - Atiku

Former  Vice President and Presidential applicant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has said that he isn't urgent to be President of the country.
Atiku expressed this while handling inquiries from newsmen in Benin on Tuesday.

He anyway swore not to leave the PDP regardless of whether he neglects to anchor the presidential ticket of the gathering.

Atiku who was the country's Vice President to Olusegun Obasanjo, somewhere in the range of 1999 and 2007, said he would have progressed toward becoming President in 2003 on the off chance that he were frantic.

"What do you anticipate that my pundits will state. I can keep running the same number of times as I need. I am fit and qualified despite everything I have thoughts to put this nation on the correct way. What isn't right in attempting over and over.

"I am not desperate to end up President. On the off chance that I were frantic, I would have taken the administration in 2003. In the event that I were urgent, I would not have ventured down for Abiola. I have the enthusiasm of this nation."

NAN reports that Atiku who contacted down at the Benin Airport in a private fly close by the Director General of his crusade association, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, was in Benin as a feature of the battle to pick the gathering's ticket.
