DPO Expelled For Allegedly Extorting Money From Nigerians in Lagos


The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) responsible for Pen Cinema Police station, Harrison Nwabuisi, has been expelled over claims verging on corruption.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, requested his expulsion following a daily paper distribution affirming gross proficient offense amid the Sallah day festivity.

The DPO, a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) and a portion of his young men were claimed to have been doing unlawful strikes and extorting cash from honest people around Agege zone.

An announcement by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Chike Oti, noticed that the consideration of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Edgal Imohimi, was attracted to a Newspaper production of Friday, August 24, 2018, subtitled "Power-tanked Lagos DPO drives group to mosque, strike followers, others."

Oti said that in the production the journalist, specified that the Divisional Police Officer responsible for Pen Cinema Police Division, Lagos State, Harrison Nwabuisi, has been leading attacks amid which he supposedly captured blameless occupants and coerced cash from them.
