Detained IPOB Women Finally Freed

The High Court sitting in Owerri, Imo state has liberated the 112 IPOB women who were captured and detained amid a protest requesting for the whereabouts of Nnamdi Kanu and his folks.

The dissidents were captured Friday, August 17 amid a serene challenge to request a date for Biafra choice, and the whereabouts of the IPOB leader, who vanished since September 14, 2017 after assault of his Afaraukwu Umuahia nation home by security agents.

It was assembled that the judge in his decision requested that the police discharge them unequivocally after the safeguard application recorded by the lead direction to the ladies, Ejiofor Uche, was not restricted, as the Police had no portrayal in court.

The court conceded the safeguard application, and liberated the women genuinely.

Talking soon after the court's decision, the Police prosecutor, Theaddus Okay, told newsmen that the Police had no portrayal on the grounds that the issue had been alluded to the state service of equity for legitimate guidance and choice.

In the mean time, their flexibility started wild celebration on the court premises and inside Owerri, the state capital as the vast majority of the ladies could be seen singing triumph tunes.
