Air Force Neutralizes Outlaws in Zamfara

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Air Task Force (ATF) in Operation Diran Mikiya said its troops have nuetralised a few outlaws in Sububu woodland, Birnin Magaji and Rugu backwoods in Zamfara State.

The task which was an air ban and furnished surveillance mission was directed between August 9-11, 2018.

An announcement by NAF representative, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, said the assault at Sububu backwoods was directed on the August 9 2018 after revelation of a desperados' refuge in the woods.

He said the ATF had directed facilitated freedom task including NAF Special Forces at a speculated equipped scoundrels' camp on the edges of Galadi in the Northwest of Zamfara State.

He said troops found that the criminals had abandoned the alcove camp and scattered into the close-by Sububu Forest.

"The ATF dispatched a battle flying machine for furnished observation to search out and decimate the highwaymen. The flying machine in this manner recognized a substantial number of scoundrels inside the woods and killed them," Daramola said.
