12 Killed as Armed Robbers Attacked 2 Banks and Police Station in Edo

Twelve individuals were dreaded dead as armed robbers assaulted two banks and a police headquarters situated at Igarra, central command of Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State yesterday.

The banks were Unity Bank and cornerstone Bank.
Among the 12 individuals slaughtered were a policeman, prisoners and bank clients.

It was accumulated that the shooters had first assaulted the police headquarters close to the banks evidently to keep any reaction from the police.

The looters were additionally said to have consumed the official vehicle of the recently posted Area Commander and executed a policeman and a few prisoners.

The two prisoners were said to have been captured early in the day over fragmented vehicle particulars.
