Married Woman Caught in Ogun After Stealing Another Woman's Baby in Osun

Mrs. Bunmi Adebayo, a 26-year-old lady, says urgency to have a child following 10 long years of marriage made her to steal a three-week old baby in Modakeke, Osun State.

Punch Metro reports that she supposedly stole the child, named David Oluwaseun, on Sunday July 1, 2018.

The suspect, who lived in Magboro, Obafemi/Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, was captured on Saturday at Orile Imo town, in a similar local government territory by men of the state Police Command.

She had fled there with the baby named David Oluwaseun.

Parading the suspect before the newmen on Tuesday at the state Police Command central command, the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said "the speculate took her edginess too far."

He said the suspect had misled her husband, who used to visit her at her dwelling place interims, that she was pregnant.

Also, following nine months, Iliyasu, stated, the presume called her significant other and broke the news that she had been conveyed of a child kid.

The news, he made the husband, Gbenga Adebayo, happy, who hurried down to her house.

In any case, he was said to have turned out to be interested when he requested for the placenta and the suspect was not able present it.

Iliyasu clarified facilitate that when the spouse requesting that her breastfeed the child in his quality, she was not able do as such.

Having understood the interest of her significant other, she was said to have stole away from the home, and her better half needed to answer to the Police that his significant other was missing.

The Police search group  caught her and the stolen child at Orile Imo last Saturday, where she was captured and the infant was saved.
