House wife Returns N50,000 Dowry to End 8-year Marriage

A house wife, Hanifa Adamu asked a Sharia court sitting at Magajin Gari in Kaduna to break down her 8 year old marriage; saying she can never again satisfy her conjugal obligations to her other half.

‎Hanifa likewise said she will restore the N50,000 settlement paid on her as cherished by Islamic law.

Talking through her insight, Barrister Junaidu Aminu, Hanifa told the court that she got hitched to her better half in year 2010 yet she is by and by never again inspired by the marriage. "My ruler, my customer needs this court to disintegrate her marriage with her better half since she can never again satisfy her conjugal obligations as a lady to him and she is prepared to restore the N50,000 settlement he paid on her amid the wedding in 2010,"

Her significant other, Ibrahim Isyaku, who is a best government official in Plateau state, was not in the court but rather was spoken to by his guidance. In his response, direction to the respondent, Barrister Badamasi Adam said that the court has no ward to engage the case while he encouraged the court to give him an opportunity to meet his customer for more subtle elements looking into the issue when he comes back from his abroad outing.

In the wake of tuning in to the two advice, the judge, Dahiru Lawal deferred the case to August 15, 2018 for continuation.
