19-Year-Old Teenager Plans Her Own Kidnap To Defraud Her Dad

Dorcas Adilewa, A 19-year-old adolescent, who arranged her own kidnap to cheat her dad, has been captured by the Lagos State Police Command.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the presume arranged the kidnap in partnership with one Ifeoluwa Ogunbanjo, her friend, who gave a location and a telephone to get in touch with her family.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Imohimi Edgal, said that the suspects were captured on July 13 following a report by the speculate's dad at Ketu Police Station.

"On July 7 at around 5 pm, Adilewa Taiwo of No. 3, Kosumi Lane, Bello-Ketu, Lagos, announced at Ketu Police Station that he got a call from telephone number 09057432362.

"He was informed that his girl, Dorcas Adilewa, was being held prisoner and that on the off chance that he doesn't need her executed, he should pay a payment of N600,000 to anchor her discharge.

"Examination concerning the case was instantly initiated and the above telephone number that was utilized by the suspects was geo-situated to Ijebu-Igbo territory of Ogun State.

"The O/C Anti-Kidnapping drove his agents to Ijebu-Igbo on July 12 and brushed the zone looking for the gathered casualty till the next morning."

The chief said that while the hunt was continuous at Ijebu-Igbo, the area of the assumed ruffians changed to Ikotun in Lagos and the inquiry party needed to move from Ijebu-Igbo to Ikotun in Lagos to protect the casualty.

"At the point when the phony ruffians understood that the Police were surrounding them, the assumed casualty chose to call the complainant to illuminate him that she has been discharged, after she had stored the whole of N8,000 in her UBA account number: 2087804991."

Imohimi said that when Adilewa was being questioned upon her discharge, she admitted that she really arranged the phony capture with her companion, one Ogunbanjo.

"She gave her convenience at No. 174, Adeboye street, Okesopin, Ijebu Igbo in Ogun State to cover up and the telephone that they utilized as a part of requesting for the payoff.
