Senator Waku Reveals Those Responsible For Herdsmen Killings

Senator Joseph Waku, Pro-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Akure has approached President Muhammadu Buhari to go after pioneers of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders' Association (MACBAN). 

He demanded that they were the people behind herders killings across the country. 

Waku blamed MACBAN for putting forth "provocative expressions" previously the January 1 assault. 

He blamed the dairy cattle raisers for vowing to ignore the Benue against open munching law "even before it was declared." 

Waku regretted that MACBAN pioneers have effectively expressed that "killings in the state were because of the burglary of their steers by Benue villagers". 

He asked the President to arrange security offices to likewise pursue those empowering the savagery, to exhibit a promise to securing Nigerians from brutality assaults. 

"The Federal Government must act quickly to reestablish lawfulness. Plainly, the circumstance is past the state government," he told NAN.
