Teacher Murders Wife, Cuts Throats of His Three Sons

An assistant headteacher murdered his wife and slit his three children's throats in their rooms, leaving a bloodied cut on a pillow before hanging himself, an investigation heard.

As indicated by the report by Dailymail, Alan Hawe, his teacher spouse Clodagh and their three youngsters Liam, 13, Niall, 11, and Ryan, six, were discovered dead in their home close Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan, Ireland on the morning of August 29, 2016.

He may have focused on Clodagh and Liam first for fear they would battle back, driving pathologist Michael Curtis told the investigation.

Amid the hearing, Garda Aisling Walsh split down and wiped away tears as she reviewed the frightening scene at Oakdene, Barconey.

Mrs Hawe was discovered lying face down in her night wear and robe on the parlor couch. She had endured extreme head and neck wounds and there was a substantial pool of blood under the seat, the investigation was told.

A little hatchet and a blade with Alan Hawe's imprint was found next to the couch, gardai told the hearing. Mr Hawe was discovered hanged in the corridor.

The investigation was told two of the young men, Liam and Niall, were found in their beds in the upstairs room they shared. A blade was found in the room.

The pathologist said there were likenesses in how the three young men passed on, and it was hard to close this was unintentional. A toxicology test demonstrated Mr Hawe had no liquor or medications in his framework at the season of his demise.

He kicked the bucket by suicide and was found in the corridor of the house.

A jury of six ladies and one man is hearing the investigation in Cavan courthouse.
