Mohamed Salah Named 2017 BBC African Footballer of the year


Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah has won the BBC African Footballer of the Year for 2016. 

The Liverpool forward was voted in favor of by fans far and wide and beat Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Naby Keita, Sadio Mane and Nigeria's Victor Moses to the prize. 

In the wake of accepting the honor, Salah stated: "I am extremely cheerful to win this honor. 

"It's dependably an exceptional inclination when you win something. I have a feeling that I had an extraordinary year, so I'm exceptionally upbeat." 

"I need to be the best Egyptian ever so I buckle down," included Salah, who is the third player from Egypt to win the honor and first since 2008. 

"I generally take after my own particular manner and I need everybody in Egypt to take after my way. 

"I might want to thank my Liverpool partners and I likewise had a decent season with Roma so I need to thank my colleagues there and my partners in the national team,"‎ he said.
