Woman Bites Off Co-Tenant's Eyelid and Finger, Swallows It in Lagos State

A mother of four, Mrs. Rita Orji has arrived stuck in an unfortunate situation after she professedly bit off her female co-occupant's finger and eyelid, and allegedly swallowed amid a battle in their compound. 

The tragic occurrence apparently occurred at 23 Adaranijo Street, Egbeda, Lagos where both the suspect and casualty live. 

The casualty, Mrs. Caroline Nwabugo suffered her predicament when she and Rita involved in an open fight and was truly battered. Amid the battle, Rita first got Caroline's finger and bit it off and endeavored to bite off her eyes but wound up just biting off the eyelid. 

It was learnt that she retched out the finger and it was recouped and kept as show. Be that as it may, her left delicate eyelid which Rita bit off got missing. The casualty asserted that Rita gulped it which she didn't deny or acknowledge as she said she couldn't state precisely what occurred around then. 

The battle broke out between the two ladies over a fight between Rita's 12-year old child and Caroline's 10-year old little girl. The battle at that point spread to the two moms and brought about genuine attack on the casualty. 

The issue was accounted for to the police at Idimu Division, Rita was captured and charged under the watchful eye of Ejigbo Magistrates court for the asserted offense. 

She argued not guilty. 

The directing Magistrate, Mrs. Jadesola Ajayi allowed her bail in the aggregate of N100,000 with two sureties in like total. She was remanded in prison.

At the point when the issue came up, the speculate educated the court of her aim to settle the issue out of court and argued for time. The court at that point suspended the issue till 8 January, 2018. 

The casualty affirmed that she was truly battered. She regretted that she had not recouped from the battle as her flesh was eaten by her kindred lady when she was as yet alive.
