Man Kidnaps Teenage Facebook Lover, Demands N4m Ransom

The 24-year old abduct suspect, Michael Duda, was paraded in Benin, by the Edo State Police Command on Thursday, with by 104 suspects captured for different wrongdoings, running from hijacking, assault, robbery and cultism at the central command of the Edo Police Command.

He however denied that he kidnapped her against her desire, including that them two arranged her hijack to fund-raise. 

The young hijack casualty who conceded that they moved toward becoming friends through Facebook, said Micheal welcomed her to go to his home, which she obliged. 

She said arriving, Michael kidnapped her and kept her for four days, assaulted her and furthermore requested for N4 million for her discharge. 

"On Thursday, at Ebike town, Ogheghe, sidestep, Benin City, Michael, cheated me by welcoming me to his home and when I arrived, he revealed to me we should plan abducting with the goal that I should remain in his home. 

"I met Michael on Facebook a month ago through a friend request he sent me which I acknowledged. 

"I burned through four days in his home. He made a call to my dad and solicited him to pay the whole from N4 million into his own particular record. He constrained me into laying down with him," she described. 

Michael however denied requesting for N4 million payment, saying that he requested for "just N2 million." 

"I inhabit Ekae people group, off Sapele street. She went to my home. We wanted to gather cash from her dad to fund-raise for our marriage however I didn't gather the cash once more. She remained in my home for four days. 

"I couldn't advise the father I need to wed his girl. She said her dad would not bolster the thought since she was yet to go to the college. She was with me for four days. The man said he has no cash to pay. I was at home with the young lady when police came and captured me." 

Senior sister of Victory, who gave her name as Rodha, said her sister was s*xually mishandled before the police rescued her.
