NYSC To Release 8000 Corps Members for Anambra Governorship Election

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, says no less than 8, 000 corps individuals directly serving in Anambra will be accessible for the lead of the inevitable governorship race.

Ebenezer Olawale, the NYSC Coordinator in the state, said this in Awka on Sunday.

Mr. Olawale said the information of corps individuals in the state had been transmitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for preparing of the Nov. 18 decision.

He said more corps individuals would be prepared from neighboring states if there should be an occurrence of setback.

"It is not any more news that the NYSC is joining forces with INEC in the lead of solid, reasonable and great races, Anambra's case isn't unique.

"My office and that of the Resident Electoral Commission have been working steadily to guarantee that corps individuals take an interest completely in the activity.

"As we as a whole know, corps individuals should be non-factional, they are not from this state, so we anticipate that them will be reasonable and they are equitably circulated over the state.

"We have no less than 10,000 corps individuals in this state yet accepting that not every one of them will be occupied with partaking in the race, we have 8,000 accessible for this reason.
