Two Herbalists Arrested in Enugu Over Alleged Murder of 3 Persons

Two men, recognized as Onyekachi Idoko and Felix Akor, were captured by the Enugu State Police Command for the claimed murder of three people in Udenu Local Government Area of the state. 

This was affirmed by the representative of the summon, ASP Ebere Amaraizu, in an announcement issued on Tuesday in Enugu. 

Amaraizu said that the two suspects were captured following a very much planned operation by the police. 

He said that the murder suspect, Idoko of Ifuroka-Amalla people group in Udenu gathering territory was grabbed by police agents of the Udenu Division on a tip-off. 

The representative said that the murder suspect, who fled subsequent to conferring the charged offense, was captured on Sept. 16 at Inyi people group in Igboeze North Local Government Area of the state. 

He asserted that the suspect nearby others killed one Onyemaechi Eze on July 5 over a yet-to-be built up issue or issues and got away. 

"The suspect is presently helping the agents in their examinations as he had given knowledge into how he and his group professedly gathered N200,000 from the local specialist, Felix Akor, who employed them to kill the casualty. 

"The herbalist, Akor, is additionally affirmed to be insidiously in charge of the strange passing of two kin, Blessing and John. 

"Akor has been captured by the agents also,'' he said.

The police representative said that the two suspects had been helping police agents in their examinations.
